Dear All,
Recently I went to Shidi from Mumbai. On the high ways there are plenty of Punjabi Dabas. In all Dabas they are charging in excess than the MRP rates for all items.
For example a Rs.15/- water bottle was sold at the rate of Rs.25.
A Rs.5/- Milk bikies sold at the rate of Rs.8/-per pack.
I want to report this to the concerned authorities and do the needful to stop this daylight looting.

this is happening not only Maharastra state but most of the states in high-ways. the reason for the high charges for cool drinks is the electric cost for fridge. the other food items are sold with high charges because travelers need it. these shops has no registration with government agencies and they don't pay any tax either. the local police and public administration is fully supporting them by getting regular bribe from them.
