Myself and my friends went there for summer vacation in my car, and we stopped our car near the forest office in theppakadu to watch the river view (mayar). While we stop the car a forest ranger (Name not known) was there and he not said anything to us. After few minute a person senior to him (Mr. raju) arrived at the venue and he told this is forest region so stopping of vehicle and getting down it is offence. Then he taken all of us to their office and then he told that "he is going to book a case against us for stopping the vehicle in protected area". After argue he said us to pay Rs5,000 as a penalty or else he will take us and vehicle under custody. Then he collected Rs1,000 from us as a bribe to released us from custody. For the above said, Witness are my friends and the other ranger with him in theppakadu forest office.
